Never heard of Jack White before the documentary “It might get loud”, where he appears alongside Jimmy Page and that guy from U2. I’ve listened to some of his music and really liked The Raconteurs, his band. The guy really knows where music came from and what others did before him, and that shows in his music. This is a rare quality, most musicians just slow down or play badly a Metallica or Sabbath riff and they call it “new music”.
