The web should be smaller

23 February 2011

Imagine all the duplicate videos from youtube removed. All the sites that are just reblogging the information from TechCrunch and AllThingsD without adding any value or opinion. All the duplicate images from blogger.com removed. The web is getting bigger, but not getting any better.

One idea about the Google-Microsoft war

3 February 2011

You nkow all about the war. Everybody does. So, my point is simple: Google created some random queries with bogus results and feed them to Microsoft via it’s toolbar. Google » bogus results. Google » handpicked results. Google just admited it fixes search results. Simple.  Of course, not all the time. Of course, never, they […]

29 January 2011

2 January 2011

I’ve noticed that my twitter page has a bigger Page Rank than my blog. Even if i understand why the links in the stream are nofollow, i can’t find any reason why my website from my twitter profile has a nofollow tag. I’ve helped grown twitter PR, wouldn’t make sense for them to return the […]

Google is spamming itself

21 December 2010

Looking for a Tabmix-like extension for Chrome? Well, Google does not have one, but that does not stop it to index the search in the results page, even though it forbids that technique for sites. Why? Because it can.

Spam Google like a pro using… Google

14 November 2010

Go to Google Trends. Pick a topic. Write about it using the keyword in the title. Bam, you’re done! You just wait for that big traffic to come!!! Does this work? Yes, of course, but imagine you are competing on that same traffic with all the big boys. Can you rank on top of CNN.com? […]

Good SEO?

9 November 2010

Bogdana Butnar, new business manager for a local advertising agency, says on her twitter account: interesting, a comment seems to say that SEO belongs to copywriters and not to specially trained SEO staff Good Search Engine Optimization can be done easily with good and unique content. Shoving the same news in Google’s throat is hard […]
