Natal and touchscreen computers

19 November 2010

The whole point of video games is that you’re not moving much. You have a controller, you move your fingers. I’ve watched the “Natal” video, i’ve seen people playing Wii Fit, I’ve played with a touchscreen laptop. Not much fun. After a couple of hours I got tired. Never used it again. Not too useful.

9 November 2010

Bogdana Butnar, new business manager for a local advertising agency, says on her twitter account: interesting, a comment seems to say that SEO belongs to copywriters and not to specially trained SEO staff Good Search Engine Optimization can be done easily with good and unique content. Shoving the same news in Google’s throat is hard […]

Searchin’ for me

9 November 2010

I was looking for how people got to this blog. It doesn’t have many links, so people get here mostly by searching for topics related to me. There are a few guys (Bogdan Gavrila, or Mihai Moruzov as he likes to call himself, among them) who search for all king of stuff. I mention on […]

Little lies

30 July 2010

“How to Web” is a new conference taking place in Bucharest sometime soon. Looking at the team in charge of the event, i couldn’t help notice some of the little lies. For example, Raluca Georgescu created “Raluk.ro, one of the most important local entertainment websites”. I never heard of it until yesterday, and i spend […]

The print does not die

14 July 2010

It doesn’t. It’s just put back into its place. Bogdan Naumovici, famous advertising man, explained the reason the print and TV dies in one question: why pay 7 Euros for something that it’s not worth that much? 12 June 2010

There’s no such thing as bad publicity, a saying goes. But it’s not really that true. If someone smarter and better at what you do says it, chances are it is true. And chances are people will remember you as a retard over the years, just because one guy said it.

The pay wall experiment

26 May 2010

Loren Feldman, a master of video blogging and social media, has recently put a pay wall on his site. I have bought a subscription, because the man is really pragmatic and knows what he is talking about. The idea behind it is great: produce content people want to pay for. You don’t have to be […]

what what?

1 May 2010

I think a lot of people got life wrong. Life is not about gathering stuff (cars, money, houses, gadgets), but rather about living a full life. What is the point of having a lot of money if you work 16 hours a day? When will you enjoy life and your money? Or how? Buying an […]

Why isn’t Microsoft jumpin’ in Adobe’s support?

30 April 2010

It’s murder what Steve Jobs is doing to flash. The problem, after Jobs’ hypocrisy and such is that he is right. Flash sucks a lot. That is why Microsoft, who holds about 95% of the computer market today isn’t saying anything. Because they know, too, that flash sucks for PCs even more than it sucks […]

No buzz about Buzz

4 April 2010

TechCrunch noticed the other day that Google Buzz is kind of dead. Google botched this in a big way. Why and how? First of all, shoving it on our throats. Big mistake. People were searching like crazy for ways of removing this bitch from their mail account. What happened to the invite? It worked on […]
